Tween/Teen Program

The Gilda’s Club Tween/Teen Program provides a unique opportunity for tweens and teens touched by cancer in any way to come together to share their cancer experiences, and to find and give support to their peers. They receive cancer education and support, feel less isolated and more in control of their lives and futures when they share their experiences with others.

There are two meetings at our Clubhouse each month where tweens/teens can come together for dinner, support, and special activities. The Tween/Teen Group is held on the first Thursday of each month from 6-8 pm for tweens/teens touched by cancer in any way. The Teens & Young Adults Living with Loss Group is held on the third Thursday of each month from 6-8 pm for teens and young adults (in their 20's and 30's) who have lost a loved one to cancer.

Upper Township Middle School provides its students who have been touched by cancer in any way the opportunity to join together each month. This group is led by Shelley Safer and Tracey LeFever, Guidance Counselor. It aims to provide age appropriate cancer education and support. For more information and/or to register for this group, please contact Tracey at or (609) 628-3500 x2239.
